SYSTEMS • DIAGNOSTICS • NETWORKING • SOFTWARE

I like figuring out how things work and what went wrong when they don't.

I work across hardware, IT support, Linux, networking, cybersecurity and software development. Most of what I know comes from using it, troubleshooting it and building something with it.

About me

I like working with technology from more than one angle. I build software, troubleshoot computers and servers, work with Linux and networks, and spend a lot of my own time learning how the pieces connect.

A lot of what I know came from having a problem in front of me and needing to figure it out. I have diagnosed production server hardware, upgraded hundreds of workstations, supported users, built full-stack web apps, and put together my own home lab so I always have something new to work on.

A few things about my work

  • CompTIA A+
  • Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Linux, networking and virtualization
  • Full-stack development and automation
  • I learn best by building and fixing things

Projects

Things I built because I wanted them to exist.

HireMePWES

My service website for local work and technical help.

I built this as a real site for the work I offer, including cleaning, computer and phone repair, and custom technical help. It gave me a place to put the web skills I learned into something I could actually use for myself.

Portalfi / Live Menu Editor

A content editor I made for restaurant and bar websites.

I wanted someone without coding experience to be able to change the information on their own site. I made a client and server that let them add, edit and remove things like menu items, events and contact information. This was where I learned a lot about authentication, APIs, databases and deployment.

Home Lab & Network

The setup I use at home to learn systems and networking by doing it myself.

I use Linux, Proxmox, virtual machines, OpenWrt, WireGuard and SSH to experiment with networks and self-hosted services. It gives me somewhere to try things, break things, fix them and understand what is happening instead of only reading about it.

Food Security Flow

A mutual-aid project built around making food resources easier to find.

I made this around an issue I care about: people being able to find useful food resources without digging through scattered information. I like projects where the technical part has a clear purpose for the person using it.

Learning Projects

Some old things I made in the Odin Project.
Most sadly not mobile friendly.

Tic Tac Toe

The original game logic is kept as I wrote it while I was learning. The presentation can grow without hiding that progress.
